IC Design
Gigalog IC department excels in analog chip design. We are world pioneers in a high speed analog design, ADCs and DACs for ten's GSps region. Our unique knowledge and proven designs allows our customers to go beyond known frontiers. As an example, our latest projects included ADC@32GSps with 6bit ENOB and 8bit DAC for 20GSps. Our portfolio currently includes ADCs up to 56GSps and DACs of up to 48GSps. From a converter field, our portfolio extends to a high speed communication, Multi-GigaBit links. As an example we recently introduced our own 32Gbps SerDes core. |
PCB Design and Manufacturing
Gigalog PCB department works under tight partnership with many High End and Low Cost PCB manufacturers around the world and delivers full turnkey PCB boards and board assembly. We specialize on a cost optimization for PCB process. We matching for each customer its optimized PCB manufacturing plant and Assembly house.
Some of our customers managed to reduce PCB cost by ~60% with a simple plant adjustment, further 20% reduction was possible after layout optimization from our engineering team.

Proprietary GIGALOG Smart Oring IC - 0.18um TS18PM Tower Process
Used for military autonomous monitoring system.
Three power inputs 1-12v, up to 1A, reverse current protection.
Smart Oring IC allows to perform interconnection between Solar Panel, Battery or Auxiliary power supply to load. Using our oring device we were able to build a system that works from solar panel at day, charges battery and switches to battery operation when no sun is available.
Used for military autonomous monitoring system.

Gigalog Photon Counting IC single channel test chip - 0.35um XH035 XFAB Process
High Speed , High Count Rate single channel photon counting channel.
Preamplifier, Shaper, 3 discriminators, counters, internal DAC, SPI communication.
1.5mW architecture, 40-50nsec shaper, non-paralyzeble behavior.
Test setup was tested under CT scanner irradiation.
